Squeaky door hinges can be a real pain in the… ear, however with about five minutes of your time you can easily eliminate them.

First of all make sure the hinges are all fastened tightly to the door frame.

Then remove each hinge pin one at a time from each door hinge, wipe it clean with a old rag or towel. When removing the pin you will probably need a hammer and thin screwdriver. Slide the screwdriver into the bottom of the hinge and tap it up and out with your hammer.

Now, lubricate the the pin and hinge with WD40, and wipe clean with the old towel from step 1. Make sure you not to let any drip onto the floor as it may stain any carpet or wood flooring. Slide the pin back into the hinge and repeat this process for the other remaining hinges.

Thats it, now your door should be squeak free.
