The Future of lighting – GE’s LED Light Bulb

After getting some emails about our post on CFL’s vs standard incandescents it seems we overlooked the next option. Expected to ship in 2011, GE will be bringing to marked a 9 watt LED bulb (40 watt equivalent) boasting a 17 year life expectancy. To top it off, the bulb looks pretty darn cool too.
